Low Pressure Die Casting
Products Description

"Low Pressure Die Casting" refers to a type of low-pressure cast aluminum alloy component. Visually, it features an open-frame structure with an overall metallic appearance in shades of grayish-green or dark gray. The part consists of multiple diagonal ribs, an outer frame, connecting arms, toothed edges, and mounting holes; its surface retains the granular texture characteristic of the casting process, along with the distinct finish of its protective coating. Functionally, the product falls into the category of complex-shaped structural aluminum components, and production specifications—including design based on technical drawings, physical samples, dimensional requirements, and surface color—are subject to final confirmation.

Low Pressure Die Casting Features

Lightweight

Low Pressure Die Casting utilizes aluminum alloy for component formation; with a density of approximately 2.7 g/cm³, aluminum is significantly lighter than steel. The product design features a large-area hollowed-out frame structure, effectively reducing overall weight. For irregularly shaped aluminum parts, this structural approach is ideal for optimizing material usage, minimizing transportation costs, and easing the burden of subsequent assembly.

Precision

Components produced via Low Pressure Die Casting often incorporate numerous diagonal ribs, serrated edges, connecting arms, and mounting holes—features that demand a high degree of mold precision. RUIXIN is capable of verifying external dimensions, hole spacing, and interlocking structures based on provided 2D drawings or 3D files. Standard dimensional tolerances can be negotiated within a range of ±0.10 mm to ±0.30 mm, making this process highly suitable for the production of custom aluminum parts.

Balance

The Low Pressure Die Casting process allows molten aluminum to flow into the mold cavity in a gentle, controlled manner. This technique is particularly well-suited for manufacturing parts featuring elongated ribs, hollowed-out sections, and irregularly shaped edges. The wall thickness of the product can be precisely controlled—typically ranging from 3 mm to 8 mm—depending on the specific load-bearing requirements of each section. This precise control effectively mitigates issues such as localized deformation, incomplete edge filling, and uneven molding.

Refinement

The surface of the finished product can undergo a range of post-processing treatments, including trimming, deburring, sandblasting, powder coating, and painting. For sandblasted surfaces, roughness levels can be specified within the range of Ra 3.2 to Ra 6.3; for powder-coated surfaces, the coating thickness can be controlled between 60 μm and 100 μm. These treatments ensure uniform surface coloration and smooth, refined edges—qualities essential for meeting the requirements of large-scale batch supply.

Customization

Through Low Pressure Die Casting, components can be fully customized based on client-provided samples or technical drawings. Adjustable parameters include external frame dimensions, rib angles, hole quantities and positions, edge serration patterns, connecting arm lengths, and surface colors. RUIXIN offers comprehensive support throughout the entire process—from mold development and sample validation to post-processing and packaging logistics—thereby effectively fulfilling all OEM procurement requirements for aluminum alloy parts.

Machinery Workshop

In a machinery workshop, these aluminum frame components can be utilized for internal structural support, positioning stops, or structural connection points within equipment. Customers can specify dimensions based on available space and installation orientation, ensuring the parts integrate seamlessly into the overall machine assembly process.

Automated Production Lines

On automated production lines, Low Pressure Die Casting is ideal for manufacturing fixture components, moving modules, or auxiliary mounting structures. The lightweight nature of these aluminum parts helps reduce the load on moving mechanisms, making them particularly suitable for equipment sections requiring frequent and rapid motion.

Outdoor Tool Assembly Areas

In outdoor tool assembly areas, these aluminum alloy components serve effectively as brackets, connecting frames, or adjustment mechanisms. Once powder-coated or painted, the parts achieve a uniform aesthetic—making them suitable for products where specific requirements exist regarding metal component color, tactile feel, and overall assembly neatness.

Sports Equipment Manufacturing Facilities

In sports equipment factories, Low Pressure Die Casting is employed to produce custom support elements, connectors, or uniquely shaped frame components. These parts can be designed and developed specifically to accommodate ergonomic grip space, connection angles, and mounting positions, making them well-suited for high-volume production runs.

Industrial Spare Parts Warehouses

In industrial spare parts warehouses, these custom-shaped aluminum components can be managed as project-specific spares, maintenance parts, or bulk replacement units. Procurement teams can place orders based on specific criteria—such as drawing numbers, surface finishes, packaging methods, and inspection requirements—thereby facilitating efficient inventory classification and subsequent installation.
